Breeding
- Breeding is the primary mechanic to discover new Monsters.
- Monsters must be at least Level 4 to be bred in the Breeding Structure. You can level up your Monsters by feeding them food from the Bakery.
- Each Monster will be composed of Elements. Monsters may have one, two, three, four, or five Elements (increasing the difficulty for breeding as the number increases). You will need to mix and match these Elements to discover new Monster combinations in the Breeding Menu.
- Some special Monsters (such as Ethereals, Legendaries, Mythicals, Seasonals, and Epics) aren’t determined by combinations of Elements, but by specific monster pairings.

Hatching
- Once you have successfully bred a Monster, you will transfer its Egg to a Nursery to be incubated. Timers for Incubation will vary depending on the number of Elements the bred Monster has.
- Once your Egg has completed incubation, you will be able to crack open the Egg and place your Monster. You can also opt to sell your Monster if you do not want to place it.

Feeding
- Feeding your Monsters will increase their levels (to a maximum of 20)
- The amount of food needed to level up a Monster doubles with every level until Level 15. After Level 15, a Monster will need 50% more food per level, all the way up to 20.
- Leveling up your Monsters will add to your total XP.

Baking
- In order to produce food, you will need to bake it in the Bakery! The Bakery will manufacture Treats that can be fed to your Monsters in order for them to level up.
- Baking requires coins, which you will earn naturally over time by collecting currency from your Monsters.
- There are a variety of Treats you can choose to bake in the Bakery that will range in Coin cost. The higher the coin cost, the more Treats you will receive.
- Baking Treats will also add to your total XP.

Levelling
- There are a total of 100 Levels you can achieve in My Singing Monsters. As you level up, you will gain access to new Islands, new Monsters, new Structures/Decorations, etc.
- Level progression is fueled by earning XP.
- You gain experience (XP) by playing the game and completing actions including:
- Placing new Monsters, Structures, or Decorations
- Baking Treats
- Removing Island Obstacles
- Upgrading Structures
- Zapping/Boxing Monsters

Island Progression
- As you progress through the game, you will unlock new Islands! Each Island has a different combination of Monsters who all come together to create unique songs.
- There are several categories of Islands that determine what types of Monsters live there. The main categories of Islands are:

- Epic Monsters have unique breeding combinations on each Island
- Most Epics retain the same song as their Common/Rare counterparts (with the exception of Epic Wubbox)
- Epic Seasonals, Epic Mythicals, and Epic Wublins have unique animations
- Epic Monsters generate more currency than Common or Rare Monsters

Teleporting Monsters to Islands
- Some Monsters can be Teleported to select Islands once they reach a certain level. Once teleported, the Monster will be permanently removed from its starting Island and will now reside on the new Island. The Islands that require Monster Teleportation are:
- Shugabush Island (Level 15)
- Seasonal Shanty (Level 15)
- Ethereal Island (Level 15)
- Ethereal Islets (Level 14)
- Mythical Island (Level 15)
- Magical Sanctum (Level 15)
- The Colossingum (Level 5)
- Transposing is similar to Teleporting, but for Magical Monsters. Level 18 Magical Monsters can be Transposed to Magical Nexus, but also require Currency to be spent.

Zapping Eggs
- Zapping Eggs is used to turn Wublin Statues (Wublin Island), Dormant Celestials (Celestial Island), and Vessels (Amber Island) into Monsters.
- Eggs may be zapped from any Breeding Structure (except Seasonal Shanty and Mythical Island) to a Wublin Statue, Dormant Celestial, or Amber Vessel in order to “Wake Up” a Wublin, “Ascend” a Celestial, or Evolve a Monster on Amber Island
- Each Monster will have its own unique inventory of zapped Eggs it requires for the Monster to become active
- There a time limit associated with zapping Eggs to Wublin Statues and Dormant Celestials that start when the first Egg is zapped to it
- Amber Island Vessels are available for a limited time during “Amber Island Waves” that typically last between 28 and 35 days. Zapping Eggs to fill Amber Island Vessels must be completed before the timer runs out.
- Flex Eggs are a special type of Egg that can only be applied to Ascend Celestials. They can be filled from multiple eligible Monster Eggs based on the Flex Egg’s requirement.
- There are 3 requirements that determine which Eggs are eligible to fill Flex Eggs:
- Rarity/Class
- Number of Elements
- Specific Element
- There are 3 requirements that determine which Eggs are eligible to fill Flex Eggs:
- Wildcards are produced when an Ascension attempt on a Young Celestial have failed, or by Minor Paironormals on Paironormal Carnival. They can be used as a substitute for Zapped Eggs, where the rarity of the Egg determines the Wildcard price.

Boxing Monsters
- When a Wubbox is first purchased and placed on an Island, it will take the form of a box and make no sound/produce no currency. Boxing Monsters is a mechanic used to “Power Up” a Wubbox.
- Wubbox requires all Common Monsters of the breeding class of its respective Island
- When all required Monsters have been boxed, a “Power Up” option will be displayed and the Wubbox will activate
- Diamonds and/or Wildcards can also be used to Power Up a Wubbox.

Attunement and Synthesis
-
- Attunement and Synthesis are exclusive mechanics to Ethereal Workshop and are used as an alternative to Breeding on the Island
- Attunement
-
-
- The Attunement Structure is used to “Attune” Meebs (Critters on Ethereal Workshop) into the 5 Ethereal Elements (Plasma, Shadow, Mech, Crystal, Poison)
- Meebs are attuned to the different Elements by absorbing Ethereal energies from the Mirror Natural Islands (Mirror Plant = Plasma, Mirror Earth = Poison, Mirror Water = Crystal, Mirror Mech = Air, Mirror Cold = Shadow)
- Each day the Attunement Structure will change its “resonance” with the Mirror Islands, changing the Shard cost and the time for each of the Elements
-
- Synthesis
-
- Once you have attuned enough Meebs for an Ethereal Monster, you can use the Synthesizer Structure
- Attuned Meebs are placed inside the Synthesizer and have a chance of producing a Monster with the elements of the chosen Meebs
- When Synthesizing a Quad- or Quint-Element Ethereal Monster, the Synthesizer will also require a pre-existing Triple- or Quad-Element Ethereal to “build upon,” as well as additional attuned Meebs for each of the Elements of the resulting Monster
- If Synthesis fails, the Monster used in the Synthesis process will be lost.

The Crucible
- The Crucible is a Structure that is exclusive to Amber Island and is used to Evolve Rare and Epic Monsters. It comes fully unlocked once you have 15 different Monsters on Amber Island.
- Evolving Monsters
- Common Monsters can be Evolved into Rare Monsters, and Rare Monsters into Epic Monsters, using the Crucible at Monster Level 4
- There are 3 levels of heat in the Crucible. The higher the heat and the higher the level of Monster, the higher chances of successful Evolution. Increasing the heat requires Relics.
- Once a Common Monster has successfully Evolved into a Rare Monster, you will need to spend Keys. When a Rare Monster is successfully Evolved into an Epic Monster, you will need to spend even more Keys to complete the Evolution.
- If Evolution fails, the residual heat may be used for further free Evolution attempts, or flags on the Crucible will unfurl. Unfurled flags will make certain Elements more likely to evolve.
- Evolving Monsters

Dish-Harmonizing
- Special Structure found on Ethereal Islets that “Reattunes” Ethereal Monsters into two separate Ethereal Eggs
- Dish-Harmonizing a Monster reverts Monsters back into Meebs (essentially “breaking them down”) and then combines those Meebs into two Monsters.
